EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — A young girl riding a bicycle was hit by a car in East Providence Tuesday evening, reported WPRI. Police say a mid-size SUV struck the girl on Walnut Street at approximately 6 p.m. The girl is suffering from minor injuries and was taken to the hospital in a neck brace as a precaution. The crash remains under investigation and no further information has been released.
