The Santa Barbara Adventure Company is looking to hire a skilled Warehouse Coordinator!
We're a fun place to work with a downtown warehouse 1 block from State Street!
This is a 24-40/hours a week job with slightly flexible hours.
Hourly pay & perks based on experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage large inventory of diverse outdoor recreation equipment
- Coordinate maintenance projects & be proactive doing repairs/maintenance in house
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouse & company vehicles
- Keep records of vehicle & gear maintenance
- Supervise guides at the warehouse & enforce warehouse expectations for clean & organized gear
- Complete food buys weekly for programs & maintain stock at warehouse
- Be a team player & assist with other responsibilities as needed
Preferred Requisites/Qualifications
- Knowledge of outdoor gear; it is a plus if you are an outdoorsman, surfer, camper, etc.
- Knowledge of basic car maintenance is a plus
- Written and verbal communication skills. Competence with Word, Outlook and Excel. Good record keeping is key to our operation
- Ability to lift at least 50+ pounds

- Ability to be a good team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment
