Jail CIT training is a 24-hour POST approved training course focusing on corrections officers intervening with behavioral health issues.
This training will be provided for (2) 12 hour days for a total of 24 hour of training. This is the very FIRST Jail CIT training in the state of Missouri. You will be required to attend all 24 hours to receive credit.
Dress code is casual or per your organizations policy.
You will receive a folder, notebook and pen along with electronic versions of all sessions on a flash drive.
Please do not park in front of the main entrance to the ambulance district, as they like to keep some spaces open for people who have business with them.
We will be observing social distancing. Masks, hand sanitizer will be available as well. If you feel sick either day, please stay home and notify training staff and your agency.
Some meals will be provided, but you can bring snacks or drinks as there will be a refrigerator available.
