Press release from Huntley Community School District 158: Mateo Hernandez, a senior at Huntley High School, is among 27 students throughout the Midwest recognized by the Hispanic Heritage Foundation in March. Now in its 22nd year, the educational grant program recognizes Latino high school seniors who excel in the classroom and community and for their excellence in various categories, including business and finance, as well as education, engineering, entrepreneurship, health care and science, media and entertainment, public service, social justice and technology.
