JOB TITLE: Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Help SUPERVISOR: Warehouse Lead Canyon Coolers is a locally owned company that manufactures Ice Chests and accessories. GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION Shipping and Receiving Warehouse Position available for growing company in the outdoor industry. Fast paced environment. All day lifting and boxing/pallet orders. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES Daily Tasks include shipping all orders from the previous day's sales along with any bulk pallet orders to be shipped to dealers and distribution centers. Perform Quality Control Checks on all products incoming and outgoing. Receiving inventory and returned items and restock items received or returned. Build and assemble coolers for shipment. Warehouse organization and basic inventory assessment. Maintain cleanliness of warehouse, trash, bathroom etc. Greet customers as they enter the warehouse and direct them, or call upon the appropriate team member to assist. Maintain tools and equipment needed for the position. Other duties as assigned by Warehouse Lead. MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Answer the phone and take messages when necessary. Exchange or fill propane tanks used on the forklift and hand torches. Maintain area outside the building including shoveling snow in the winter. QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB Education: High School Graduate Experience: Forklift Operation Experience a Must. Pallet Building and wrapping for outbound shipments. Other: Valid Drivers license required. KEY COMPETENCIES Basic Computer Skills Attention to Detail Customer Service Forklift Operation PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
