Description

Press release from the College of Lake County Athletics: College of Lake County has made amendments to their Athletics' Spectator policy for spring sports. Today the College of Lake County announced that they have updated their spectator policy to align with the Illinois Department of Public Health and CDC guidance on spectators for outdoor events. Due to this guidance, CLC will be allowing spectators that are immediate household members or guardians of participants to attend all outdoor games and contests. Please note: The college has a campus wide mandatory mask wearing policy for all events. Patrons will be asked to properly wear their mask at all times, or may face grounds for dismissal from event. Due to COVID-19 contact tracing protocols, all spectators are required to sign in and pass a temperature screen in order to have access to the event(s). All attendees information is strictly used for contact tracing purposes only, should a possible COVID-19 case occur. Spectators will receive a wristband once at the event to show they have passed the screening and signed in. Additionally, fans are encouraged to bring their own seating with them and only sit in marked designated areas. Bleacher seating will be extremely limited to comply with physical distancing guidelines. The college asks that all fans abide by campus PPE policies and comply with all posted signage while on campus.
