Press release from the City of Plymouth: March 31, 2021 Primavera, Plymouth's annual springtime celebration of the arts, begins April 16. This year's event will be modified due to COVID-19 and will include an online art gallery, as well as a limited capacity in-person gallery at the Plymouth Community Center, 14800 34th Ave. N. A partnership of the City of Plymouth and Plymouth Arts Council, this free event provides an opportunity for the public to view and celebrate fine art. Original juried artwork by local and regional adult and high school artists will be featured. Online Art Gallery Available Through May 15 The virtual Primavera art gallery will be available to view through May 15 at plymouthmn.gov/primavera. The online gallery features all works included in the in-person exhibit. Registration Required for In-Person Viewing April 16-18 New this year, the event requires advanced registration for those planning to visit the gallery in-person. Attendees can register for one-hour time slots at plymouthmn.gov/primavera. The Primavera event schedule is as follows: Friday, April 16 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. – In-person exhibit hours, registration required Saturday, April 17 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. – In-person exhibit hours, registration required 6:30 p.m. – Virtual awards ceremony, more information at plymouthmn.gov/primavera Sunday, April 18 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. – In-person exhibit hours, registration required Plymouth READS Virtual Event set for April 15 Prior to Primavera, Plymouth READS will hold a virtual 'meet the author' event 7 p.m. Thursday, April 15.
