Description

Come work in the vineyard! It is peaceful but sometimes repetitive work. An eventual transition into winery/cellar work is possible if so desired. Duties include long periods of standing and training wine grape vines to a trellis system and other day-to-day vineyard management operations. Applicant should have the ability to follow directions and to work unsupervised. Work is part time, seasonally variable, and sporadic, varying from 0-29 hrs/week. Shifts are flexible, but 8-hour days would be unlikely. Applicant should have dependable transportation and not rely on this job for regular income. Familiarity with irrigation systems, hand tools, power tools, and tractor operation preferred but not required. Winery work would involve cleaning and sanitation. Applicant should be able to pass I-9 verification. Pay based on skill set and motivation and will vary from $15 to 19/hr.
