Description

Hello Portland! I have been mixing concerts for about 15 years. Now that gigs are slowly starting to come back to venue's schedules, I would like to offer my services to anyone that may need them in the area. I have experience with shows with 100 - 10,000 attendees so, no gig is too small or too large. I can also support anyone looking to take their live streams to the next level. If anyone is interested reach out. A few things I have to offer: I have my own mixing console capable of 64 inputs (if a high input channel count is needed, I will need some notice to accommodate your needs) I can provide up to 64ch multitrack recording of each input at 96kHz 24 bit sampling rate. I can mix FOH, Monitors, Monitors from FOH, etc. I have years of experience in both positions and have no issues mixing for monitors in ear monitors, wedges, or some combination of both. A venue or band provided console is perfectly acceptable to me as I am proficient on most mixing consoles from analog to new digital consoles. I can come to your practice space and multitrack record, if you are looking to make an album, demo, etc. The direct recordings you can then hand to a studio, or I can provide a stereo mix and the multitrack recordings. Each performer can have direct (IOS or Android) control of their own monitor mix if needed. Drum and Instrument microphones (I currently won't provide vocal mics because, you know, covid.) Great photos (at no cost [obviously should time allow]). These would be provided as a "time-for-prints" arrangement. Some things I am not equipped to provide: I do not own PA, wedges, or in ear monitor systems. (if any of these items are needed I can assist sourcing appropriate speakers, monitors, etc.) Distant future bookings. Two to three weeks out from a gig should be fine, but I can't guarantee my availability for anything farther out as I have long term clients I need to be able to accommodate and I usually will have about 2-3 weeks notice from them. I primarily tour and while most bands do not yet have shows on their calendars, I expect late summer through to fall will become increasingly busy. I am relatively new to portland. I moved here in 2018, so I would be happy to provide my resume and references if needed. Thank you all! I hope this year proves to be better for us all than last year! Matt
