Childcare Teacher/Teaching Assistant

We are a faith-based preschool and childcare center that is currently operating under the Temporary Pandemic Childcare Center License. We are looking for varying positions throughout the center. We are a 5 star rated center through Ohio's Step Up to Quality Program. Potential candidates need to be flexible with hours as we are open from 5:30am to 6:00pm. Hours will normally be the later hours ending as late as 6:15 pm. Must have a good attitude and be a team player. Candidates must be 18 years of age and have a completed high school diploma. Lead Teachers must: -Create fun and interactive learning experiences that include our faith-based character education while serving as mentors to staff and families. -Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all Step Up to Quality standards -Use observations, screening and assessment to create lesson plans that meet each individual child's developmental needs -Communicate directly with parents and prospective parents to achieve success for the child -Maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is clean and organized -Have strong classroom management skills -Have a basic understanding of computer, tablets or smartphones Teaching assistants must: -Support teachers in implementing learning experiences -Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing and Step Up to Quality standards -Communicate with staff and parents about children's daily activities -Maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is clean an organized -Have strong classroom management skills -Have basic understanding of computer or smart phone/tablets
