Seeking Participants for Focus Group

The County of San Diego Planning & Development Services (PDS) is currently updating the County's General Plan for the unincorporated communities (including Lakeside) in three areas: Housing Element, Safety Element, and (new) Environmental Justice Element. Community outreach is important to this effort, particularly among those residents with the greatest needs and whose voices are not always heard. We are conducting a small focus group with Lakeside residents over Zoom on Thursday, April 1, 4pm-5:30pm to hear their feedback on these proposed policies and their related needs. We are offering a $25 gift card to each participant (one per household) to a local store/grocery for their time. Please include an email address and/or phone number in your response as this is time-sensitive. PLEASE NOTE: This is a one-time only opportunity. We will not be hiring for any future focus groups, nor will this lead to a permanent position.
