SUMMARY Victory Wine Group is a fast-growing distributor focused on fine wine and spirits in the state of Texas Our focus is on representing vintners and distillers who are dedicated to tradition, innovation, and quality. The Warehouse Team Member performs the loading and unloading of delivery trucks and moves and stores materials/products. Assists the Production Department as needed. Ensures team members are working safely at all times. Essential Functions (This list may not include all duties as assigned): • Follow Company’s safety policies and procedures and encourage other Team Members to do the same • Safely operate forklift or other machinery in order to complete tasks, such as loading, unloading, sorting, staging and transporting products • Work cooperatively and productively with other Team Members in order to complete tasks • Unload Product: Correctly label and stack product to properly secure • Load trucks according to cubic weight, size and characteristics • Provide outstanding service to stores by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner • Maintain condition of Distribution Center work area (i.e., free of trash, product in correct location, etc.) • Perform safety check of powered industrial vehicle prior to operation • Locate product in warehouse using manifest or scanning system • Follow Company processes to add or subtract product from inventory • Record quantity of product actually loaded per Company procedures • Ensure accuracy of load by verifying quantity • Perform Inventory Audit prior to loading and inform supervisor of any deficiencies • Transport product from production/receiving areas Other: • Must be able to travel within established geographic areas, as necessary. • Must have reliable transportation, hold a valid drivers’ license and meet company driving record & automobile insurance requirements. • Performs other duties, as assigned. REQUIRED SKILLS: • One – two years previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing or production environment • High School diploma or GED • Basic computer skills for order processing and inventory control • Company certification to operate warehouse equipment such as forklift or pallet jack • Ability to stand, climb and walk on a continual basis throughout shift. Ability to lift from floor to above the head, 50 lbs. frequently, and 75 lbs. occasionally, throughout work shift • Must be available to work during a shift which may be scheduled anytime during a 24 hour day, over any 7 day period • Ability to work in warehouse environment with constant exposure to loud machinery • Ability to work in extreme temperatures, both indoors and outdoors • Strong time management and customer service skills • Ability to walk, drive, and lift and carry heavy items for extended periods • Attendance is an essential job requirement defined as having regular, consistent, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance including the ability to work regular hours and shifts, before and after hours, and on weekends, when required. • Must complete and pass a criminal background check.
