Description
1 years old Pit bull mix $50 rehoming fee cat, dog and kid friendly It was most tough decision that we, family, have decided to rehome for sweet JackJack (JJ) due to few reasons: We are always busy working (we own a landscape business and I work for the state. When my days are off, I’m always out helping my husband). We also have 2 small deaf dogs, 1 cat and 4 kids (19, 18, 15 & 7). My 7 years old daughter needs a lot of my help with school work/homework. When we adopted him, we were told that he would be a small dog but he grew bigger than we expected and he escaped many times (jump over medium size fence, it worn us out by worry and looked for him. Our yard isn't the best suit for him. When we went out looking for him and sometimes we found him. Sometimes we couldn’t find him, he would go out for hours then come back home. But where we live is not safe for him (live close to Springdale Rd/MLK). It was supposed to be my son’s responsibility but he isn’t following through and his grades are not doing good. We feel it is selfish if we keep him longer. We agreed that he deserves to have a better home and parent(s)/family who is/are into a lot of activities such as likes to run/long walk/hike daily or almost everyday and have a big yard enough for him to roam. I definitely recommend having a private fence or he will jump over medium size fences. When he gets out, he normally would visit one of our neighbors (another street) that has 2 dogs (same size as him). That’s our first stop to look for him but other than that - he roams somewhere else that we never know where. He loves to wrestle with other dogs. We have friends’ dogs visiting sometimes and he takes the opportunity to play for hours. He’s incredible with other 2 small dogs, he’s very gentle with them. He knew he couldn’t play rough with them (video attachment): shows Yoda (small 1) was playing with bone and JJ was “stealing”, Yoda barked at him and bit him, JJ didn’t mind and let her do what she wants, he’s passive with little ones. But for others who are the same size as him, he will fight for bone but not in violence way (no bleeding or punctures) yet. We managed to interfere without problems. Other than that, he's an awesome pup! HIS BACKGROUND: He’s high energy pup & sweet and lover boy He gets along with other pets. We never see him act up with other animals except might would “fight” for a bone. Of course typically for most of dogs He knows some words: sit, lay down. He used to roll over, play “dead” but we haven’t practiced tricks with him lately. We know he can still relearn. He loves to go for rides, swim in the lake/river, camping, you name it. *** 3/5/21 Friday - he went to vet for chip, rabies shots, & neutered If you are interested in adopting JJ, can you please explain your background: Share your experience with pets? Do you have other pets & all updated? Your home surroundings have a yard with a private fence? Are you into activities, hike, camp, travel? JJ would love that. We will screen to see who is best fit for JJ. Thanks for your time to read and feel free to ask any questions. In advance, thanks for your interest!
