FULL TIME ** Immediate Hire ** We are looking for a self-motivated, hardworking individual who is a self-starter that is comfortable working solo or with a team, energetic, focused and dependable to service two of our apartment communities in the East Islip/Great River area. The majority of the daily tasks are outdoors and the ideal candidate is comfortable working in all-weather situations. All applicants must meet the following qualifications: • Possess a valid/clean driver’s license. • Own, insure and maintain a reliable truck or van appropriate to the work. • Able to work in all weather conditions. • Clear written and verbal communications skills. Interpersonal skills are necessary for interacting with residents, contractors/vendors and management staff. • Able to work without supervision with an understanding of tasks to complete. • Maintains a good relationship with co-workers and works well with others. • Positive and productive attitude and ethical standards. Duties include but are not limited to: • Daily maintenance of each community with a focus on curb appeal while constantly observing, reporting and/or initiating actions to correct conditions. • Frequently walking the properties and keeping all buildings, breezeways, walkways, stairwells, dumpster areas, recreation areas, parking areas, and landscaped areas clear of litter, debris and pet waste. • Maintain the Pet Park areas and ensure all pet stations are stocked and cleared.
