Commercial and Residential Electricians needed Immediately for a great, long established electric company. We are looking for technicians experienced with both residential and commercial electric, if this is you then please apply by submitting your resume to the email address listed below. Griffin Electric is looking for the following qualifications for persons experienced in commercial and residential electric: Commercial • Perform installation of electric, electrical distribution equipment, PLC's, conduit, wiring, and repair / maintain control systems. • Troubleshoot motor and control systems. • Manage time, materials, work orders, daily time sheets, and reports for project documentation. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings. • Plan and layout new and modified electrical equipment installations, repair wiring, and control systems. • Maintain accountability of property, including tools, equipment, vehicles, and supplies. • Available to be on call for occasional weekend or holiday work, should the situation arise. • Perform other duties as directed when needed. • Customer Service oriented. Residential • Install electrical conduit in new and rehab projects. • Installation of electrical components such as fixtures, switches, receptacles, batteries, ballast and fire detectors. • Experience installing breakers, fuses, conductors, meters and hardware. • Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances and fixtures using hand and power tools • Customer Service oriented. Qualifications: • 3-5 years of electrical experience. • Knowledge of electrical distribution, motors, and controls. • Knowledge of NEC, applicable local codes, and OSHA safety regulations. • Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand power tools. • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills, • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings. • Ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs. without accommodations. Able to work in confined spaces, and hold awkward positions while installing or removing equipment. • Ability to use and apply testing equipment such as ohm meter, amp clamp, and volt meter.
