Job Description: Maintenance Technician
Reports to: Property Manager/Maintenance Supervisor
General Description:
Maintenance Technicians are responsible for completion of day to day work orders assign by the Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.
Specific examples of responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Completes assigned work orders and submits completed work orders at the end of the day to the Maintenance Clerk.
• Performs emergency work order service calls.
• Repairs and maintains household appliances such as; stoves, refrigerators, and water heaters.
• Repairs and maintains plumbing fixtures and drain systems.
• Completes unit turn overs.
• Performs general painting and floor tile repairs.
• Performs general carpentry work.
• Performs preventive maintenance as assigned.
• Performs all other duties as directed by the Executive Director or Property Manager.
