We are currently hiring full & part time laborers & experienced carpenters to join our team. Experienced or entry level laborers welcome, carpenters must have 3 years experience. Salary negotiable, permanent or temporary welcome – work hours are typically Monday-Friday 7AM-4PM. Laborer Job Type: Full-time, Part-time Salary: $13.00 to $17.00 /hour Construction Laborer responsibilities include, but not limited to: • Operate and care for construction equipment and machines. • Help equipment operator, carpenters, and other skilled labor when necessary. • Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards. • Load or unload construction materials. • Put together and take apart temporary structures, such as scaffolding. • Remove, fill, or compact earth. • Follow instructions from supervisors. • Landscaping, concrete, demo & framing tasks • Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary. • Perform site clean-up. Carpenter Job Type: Full-time Salary: $16.00 to $25.00 /hour Carpenter position available is full time and must have some or all of the following skills: • Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients. • Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding. • Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, and other materials. • Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and door frames. • Help erect, level, and install building framework with the aid of rigging hardware and cranes. • Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures. • Instruct and direct laborers and other construction helpers. Driver’s license with good driving history and personal transportation is required for both positions. To do well in either of these roles you should be physically fit, reliable, and a hard worker. Shop is located in Wamego, but job sites are located throughout the Wamego/Manhattan area (mileage reimbursement where applicable). We are looking to fill these positions immediately.
