Yard Maintenance and Cleanup - Yard Work

Older couple with handicap/allergies (bee’s, pollen, etc), is seeking someone to help us maintain our external/perimeter property, to provide yard/grounds maintenance and upkeep. We'd prefer someone local, within Anacortes City limits or just outside. Most of the INFREQUENT work requested, will involve the following situations; -Mowing (or weed waking if preferred) an all grass/hillside area (about 500 Sq. Ft.), once (possibly 2X) a month -Weed Wacking nearby area, a culvert, additional hillside, around large boulders and existing trees, etc, also once (possibly 2X) a month -Weeding (pulling out of ground) scattered/intermittent areas from time to time (whenever necessary) -Trimming ANYTHING dying/dead in the yard as needed, upkeep…like bushes from street/doors/etc. -Keeping existing areas cleared, pathways like to/from sprinkler systems in front yard, etc. Help deter overgrowth. -Picking up leaves, flower pedals, pine cones, etc. (most derives/sourced from our neighbors yards) Then will need removal of anything/everything above, as we do not keep/maintain Yard Waste containers. From our recollection, this generally occurs roughly 1 time per month (can keep prior service/bags on our property until taken away). Sometimes owners can do this, depending on availability/time/size/etc. Hourly pay expected. That said, we are VERY open and flexible regarding schedules. More info, if it helps; We're nearly 20 years as Anacortes residents, living near Skyline area (minutes from Washington Park and Ferry Terminals). Opportunity is ideal for (better suited/geared towards) younger individuals, particularly someone looking for part time, limited labor/work, but with very flexible scheduling. During these 20 years, we've had only 2 (yes, just 2) - individual persons the entire time doing this work for us. First was for $8.00/hr, Second was for $10.00/hr. Both have moved onto other, full time, regular work (last one, end of last season – September 2020). Generally, you would be welcome to show up anytime you'd like, any day you'd like and please know that there will be "infrequent" periods too, where we'd ask you to come for specific needs, and at those times we will generally ask for the help with about 1 or 2 weeks of notice (i.e. guests coming, family, etc.). In the past, others have shown up one day to do an hour or two of work, then again another day soon thereafter or later in the week to continue the work, sometimes coming back 3 times to accommodate their own schedule (had an hour free, showed up, worked then left....returning when more time was available). This is just to demonstrate our flexibility regarding your time and any commitments you might have/need/want. Over the years, work needs outlined above have been basically between March - September...a good, solid cleanup in September for us, we've found holds us over for the Winter months just fine...so roughly 6-7 months, and generally 1-2 times a month is all that has been needed.
