We are looking for a positive, quick-thinking, motivated person to join our screen printing team. This is an entry position with opportunity to advance to press assistant and press operator after 2-3 months of proven progress. As Head of Quality Control, you will be responsible for: -Providing quality control by inspecting all goods during and after printing and ensuring each order is completed accurately and to our customer's expectations. Attention to detail is a must! -Productivity and Accuracy -- maintaining (and striving to exceed) targeted expectations for average number of orders completed per day, and consistently executing the quality of work our customers expect Basic job description: -Inspect production prints for color, registration, and print quality according to customer specifications and/or company standards. -Inform press operator of print problems observed during production run. -Record and report quantities of rejected material and acceptable prints. -Catch, stack, sort, and pack printed product. -Inspect materials, products, and containers at each step of packaging process. -Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment.
