Siegner and Company is an established medium to large commercial painting contractor in the Portland Metro area for almost 30 years. We seek professional Foreman and Journeyman Painters (M/F) for interior year-round work. Requirements of the job: · Must have a vehicle. · Valid state driver's license or identification care · Provide proof that you are able to work legally in the US. · Pass a drug screen. · All necessary safety certifications (lift card, first aid/CPR, respirator fit/medical, OSHA 10). · Provide all basic tools for the job (painters grip). All other tools/equipment provided by employer. Job Duties: · Proficient in all aspects of the painting process. · Masking. · Prepping (sanding, caulking, etc.). · Application of architectural coatings by brush, roll, or spray methods. · Operation of power washing and spray equipment. · Operation of mechanical hand tools such as grinders, sanders, or other misc. tools. · Use of boom and scissor lifts. · Use of ladders. · Ability to take direction from foreman and crew leaders. · Ability to work as part of a small, medium, or large team (positive attitude). Bonus Duties (not required but considered a plus): · Experience in stain application by spray or other application method (die stains, oil-based stains, hybrid stains, etc.). · Experience in clear finish application (lacquer, varnish, hybrids). · Brushing trim work such as door frames, window casings, base boards, and other misc. trims. Journeyman/Foreman should have commercial experience in the following, but not limited to, areas: · Exterior Repaint · Exterior Swing Stage Experience · Interior Repaint · New Construction · Tenant Improvement (brushing and rolling smooth wall in office spaces) · Remodels Employer Provided Benefits: · We offer top wages. · Full family medical, dental, and vision insurance. · Pension. · Paid time off.
