PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual and automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product to prescribed quality and production standards. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, and delivery. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION: • Pulling customer orders • Basic knowledge of inventory management • Loading and unloading trucks and containers • Stocking inventory • Cycle counting • Able to work overtime as required • Responsible for maintaining work area and operating equipment • Works together with cross functional teams • Follows all safety rules and procedures • Maintains a clean and safe work area • Familiar with in and outbound shipping procedures REQUIREMENTS • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions • Dependable with a good record of attendance • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and walk and stand a minimum of 8 hours a day EDUCATION and or/ EXPERIENCE: • High School Diploma or equivalent • Experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment • Basic English Skills are required • Good knowledge of Microsoft based programs including excel, word, and outlook • Must be able to get along with a variety of individuals • Must be able to work overtime as required • Willing to follow instructions and take direction Position: Full Time Location: Troutdale, Oregon Core Values: Find the best way to do things Listen to our customers Own our actions and behaviors Respect everyone All share in the success Life and work balance DPI Staffing, a division of The DPI Group, offers temporary, temp-to-hire and direct hire job opportunities with top employers.
