Summary: Our Forbes Five-Star Hotel rating is due in a large part to the presentation and welcoming atmosphere of our accommodations. It is the housekeeping staff that work behind the scenes to keep that possible by maintaining a clean and comfortable environment. Twin Farms is now looking to add to our team of housekeeping professionals. Responsibilities: Housekeepers efficiently care for and prepare guest rooms while providing high attention detail and an eye for thoroughness. Work often is conducted independently but sometimes in a partner or team format. He/she is responsible for regular renewing, refreshing, straightening, cleaning, clearing, and sanitizing of accommodations. Additionally, linens and other laundry are collected, transported, washed, folded and stored. Housekeepers restock room items, and report maintenance issues, missing inventory, or damage. Requirements: Must be able to regularly lift 15 to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 35 pounds. Requires constant work on feet along with frequent and prolonged stooping, bending, and reaching. Individuals will have to take responsibility for a job that is thorough, accurate, and timely. Strong and focused attention to detail is essential. Must be available to have some flexibility in schedule and understand that work needs change quickly with fluctuating business activity. Moreover, availability to work on or around holiday is likely. Must demonstrate reliability and dependability with attendance and punctuality. Must have valid driver license with clean driving record.
