Urban Country Club seeks Grounds workers to maintain grounds and tennis courts of a beautiful property located in Philadelphia, PA. The candidate will work closely with the Superintendent on all aspects of the grounds maintenance. This is an opportunity that requires a strong work ethic, commitment, honesty and a positive attitude. Responsibilities include but not limited to: implementing the direction given by the Grounds Superintendent in the construction and maintenance of the grounds and tennis. To provide high quality tennis courts, sports venues and grounds that are within proper standards for member satisfaction. This position requires working knowledge of grounds maintenance, procedures/use/application of pesticides/fertilizers, irrigation, and safe use of equipment. It would be helpful for the candidate to have experience caring for high quality turf. Candidate must be reliable, have the ability to work weekends, and be able to do some heavy lifting. Seasonal position with competitive wages. Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
