Description

As a Maintenance Supervisor on the Property Management team at LINK Real Estate Group, you will be responsible for leading maintenance operations and upkeep at an assigned multi-family apartment community in Jacksonville, Florida. You will also be responsible for overseeing and assigning daily scope of work for the community maintenance staff. What You'll Do -Oversee the completion of tenant service requests and the make-ready completion process -Ensures the community meets the highest exterior aesthetics standards -Manages and leads a team of skilled technicians -Coordinates and manages vendor and sub-contractor projects within the community -Builds and executes a community maintenance budget -Ensures property maintenance meets company quality standards at all times. -Oversees daily operations of the community and ensures that grounds, maintenance, and property are in superior condition. -Ensures team completes work in accordance to all required compliance standards and applicable regulations. -Plans and conducts team meetings and trainings on an as needed basis. -Manages other projects as needed. -Performs other related duties as required and assigned About You -At least 3 years of experience in maintenance and repair experience required for residential, retail or commercial property management is required -At least 1 year of maintenance supervisor leading a team is required -Skills and experience servicing and repairing items associated with carpentry, painting, plastering, heating and cooling, and minor electrical tasks is needed -High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training, and one year of maintenance and/or service experience; OR equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred -HVAC certification is preferred but is not essential -Strong knowledge and technical skills associated with light carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC, and general installations or repairs associated with the turn process and punch outs -Flexible, willing and able to multi-task while working in a fast paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities. The ability to have flexibility to regularly work outside of normal business hours to meet deadlines if necessary. -Strong attention to detail, accuracy and strong organizational skills -Adheres to and ensures all safety policies and procedures are followed at all times -Available, as necessary, in the event of an emergency maintenance call during any on-call period -Valid, unrestricted driver’s license -Individual will be expected to have reliable transportation to and from work each day and when on call for emergencies -Strong customer service skills -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Self-starter and highly organized -Strong time management skills and the ability to follow directions -Works well independently and within a team environment -Basic computer skills -Ability to sit and stand frequently throughout the day, and sometimes lift heavy items About Us Founded in 2015, as a boutique real estate firm, today LINK Real Estate Group is an industry leader in multi-family property and association management.
