Description
I'm Dusty and right now I'm fantasizing about what life will be like when Covid goes away and living can continue. I'm not entirely sure what I'd like to be doing but I figured it couldn't hurt to put the feelers out and see who's out there. I'm wide open and have plenty of time to dedicate to the right band or project. Not necessarily with my own original music either, I'm very interested in joining a new or established group as well if the perfect one comes along. Here's a link to music I've written/produced and played all the instruments (except when noted otherwise). https://soundcloud.com/dustyrichards The songs under "We Were Lizards" are my rock-ish band-style stuff. "Spirometry" is more studio-oriented and electronic. I'd love to know if anyone can get down with this and would want to collaborate with me. On these songs, and/or new ones, and/or your songs you want to bring forward to me. More than anything I could really use someone that can kill behind the drum kit. It's the biggest most obvious gap in my abilities, thus the abundance of drum samples where a live drummer should belong all over those demos. Taste and chemistry are everything to me. To get started anyways- so, singers, producers, DJs, guitar players, anything players that are into the kind of stuff I'm doing should absolutely hit me up! Even better if you're somewhat studio and computer savvy, sending stems back and forth can be very awesome sometimes. Other than studio fun, I'm also fully equipped to rock. I can drive to you, or we can use my recording/rehearsal studio and my musicy stuff. Setup to track 10 channels at once, [drum mics: SM57(x3), Audix I5, Sennheiser e902, Beta81, Rode NT5 (stereo pair), Gefell UM70], a 5-piece kit, full PA w/in-ear monitors, two guitar amps, and a bass amp backline with a variety of amp heads, cabinets, and pedals to mix and match. Also, a whole slew of MIDI controllers, keyboards, electronic drum pads...etc. All running into a Propellerhead Reason 11 DAW setup on my MacbookPro. If you like to geek-out over gear or if you found anything in the last couple of sentences exciting, then you and I may get along fantastically. Don't be shy, hit me up! I wanna hear what other home studio kats have been doing too, let's share Dusty Richards
