An internationally recognized leader in rare and important antiques, fine art and jewelry, our luxury gallery in the French Quarter is cleaned and maintained to very high standards. We are currently seeking a Custodian to perform custodial work in offices, warehouses, industrial areas and other building interiors and exteriors in accordance with company standards. This is a full-time position paying $14 per hour. The Housekeeping department is open Monday-Saturday 7am to 5:30pm. Work will be scheduled during these hours and is subject to overtime. There may be need for occasional evening work. Essential Functions Sweep, vacuum, mop, scrub, wax and polish floors, primarily back-of-house (Operations shop, Housekeeping storage, access stairs, etc.) and at the warehouse location. Operate carpet cleaner and other equipment using chemicals and cleaning solutions. Clean outside public access areas, sweep and remove debris from sidewalks and gutters, wash windows or perform other incidental seasonal tasks. Clean and maintain courtyards including watering plants and removing weeds. Receive and stock deliveries of housekeeping items and other supplies. Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment. Empty and remove trash daily. Clean and maintain moving equipment (dollies, carts, etc.). Light maintenance.
