ASI Signage Innovations, a leader in Architectural Signage has an immediate opening in its Kenner facility for a full- time Bucket Truck Operator and Electric sign installer. Candidate must be able to communicate well with others and represent the ASI team's core values. ASI installers work in professional environments as well as open construction zones and assist in our production facility from time to time. Qualified individual will install interior and exterior office and building signage, vinyl and wide format digital graphics, dimensional letters, and general site signage as needed. Clean appearance, ability to interact with clients and read architectural plans, mechanical drawings and follow directions. Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work at heights not in excess of 50' feet. Out of town travel, mostly in state, is necessary. Operator/ Installer Responsibilities: Loading and transporting signs, tools and materials to the location safely. Preparing the site for installation by removing old signage, preparing the surface or structure, and securing the electrical connections when necessary. Ensuring the effective measurement, placement, connection and installation of the sign. Mounting and installing the signs in accordance with all safety protocols. Clearing debris and materials from the site after each installation. Performing maintenance and repairs to signs, as needed. Operating and maintaining tools and equipment in accordance with safety protocols. Sign Installer Requirements: High School diploma or GED. At least one years’ experience as a bucket truck operator and electric sign installer or similar. Valid commercial driver’s license, clean driving record and be able to pass a drug test. Good knowledge of various types of signs including vinyl, channel letters, electrical signs, road signs, A clear understanding of the applicable installation methods, materials, and safety measures. The ability to operate power and hand tools. Welding experience preferred. Physically fit and able to perform strenuous labor including lifting, climbing, and working at heights. The ability and willingness to work in harsh weather conditions. Willingness to work evening and weekend hours, as needed to complete the job.
