Need to rehome 9 year old Shih-tuz

This is probably one of the hardest things I’ve had to do... but I need to rehome a 9 year old shih-tuz. She was a residents dog in a nursing home I worked at and the resident passed away. I didn’t want her to end up in a shelter for the rest of her days, so I took her. She isn’t doing so well with my 5 year old and just seems to be miserable. It’s breaking my heart but I really think she would be a lot happier in a home without small kids. She is always by my side. She walks on a leash perfectly and even without a leash will not leave your side. She had done nothing wrong!! She is just an older lady who is done with her kid years! If you would like to give this girl a home please let me know!
