Ohio concealed carry permit course This 8 hour course, when successfully completed, will qualify each student to apply for Ohio's concealed handgun permit. The course is broken up into two sections. We will begin with six hours of in class training explaining safety rules, components of firearms, proper grip/stance, etc. The six hours will culminate in a written test. Upon completion, the course will move to the firing range where two hours of live fire training will take place. Each student will be required to pass the live fire qualification course before receiving a certificate of completion. Time will be given during in class training for a 30 min lunch break. Snacks and drinks are encouraged. Attendees are required to bring the following: -notebook -pen -a functional pistol of their choice(traditional pistols, no AR/AK) -minimum 50 rounds of ammunition. 100 rounds preferred- No handloads -hearing protection Attendees will need to dress appropriately for outdoor conditions as range time takes place rain or shine.
