The Field Supervisor position is a key position responsible for the timely and quality installation of our Patio Enclosures sunroom products. This position is responsible for making our customer’s project come to life and to ensure all products are installed accurately, in a timely manner and to the satisfaction of our valued customers. This role is split between office and field time. JOB KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • 4-8 years’ experience in carpentry and general construction • Ability to measure, compute and order materials needed for a job • A positive, team-oriented, problem-solving approach to sales challenges/opportunities • Experience in dealing with multiple trades and sub-contractors is a must • Experience with sunroom and replacement window installation preferred JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Ensure that teams know details of job to be installed with the proper materials and equipment on truck. • Oversee performance of the teams and train them on proper procedures. • Evaluate performance and quality standards of sub-contractors. Know the “market value” of vendor products and sub-contractor services and make appropriate recommendations for costing to the Branch Manager. • Know proper installation procedures for all Great Day product offerings. • Conduct Measures and Breakouts. • Ensure that safety standards are reviewed and implemented. • Obtain Building Permits as required. • Meet with customers to review difficult and/or complicated jobs or to solve difficult service problems. • Order materials from Company and/or local vendor(s) using cost effective measures. • As necessary, spend time in the field installing and/or training Great Day Improvements LLC offers the successful candidate: • Based on skill level and experience, $20-25/hourly to start • Potential for future performance-based bonus/variable pay • Competitive benefits package including: • Health insurance options include an H.S.A matching program • Vision and Dental plans • 401(k) Plan with a company match • Short and long-term disability insurance plans • Vacation and Holiday pay
