MUST LOVE DOGS - Professional "Pooper Scooper" (Metro Atlanta) An exciting opportunity now exists to join Dirty Work Pooper Scooper Service! Due to growth of our unique company, we are searching for an enthusiastic and hard-working Pet Waste Technician to join our team. COMPENSATION: · 16.00 per hour to start. (PLUS you get to keep 100% of all client tips / gratuities and bonuses are available for good customer service and a job well done). · Overtime paid at time and a half. · 401k and 401k matching after 6 months. · Two weeks paid time off after completing 6 months. · All major US Holidays paid time off JOB BEGINS: · Interviewing Immediately LOCATION: · Starting from Smyrna, GA (you will be servicing homes, apartments, condos, etc all over metro Atlanta) You MUST be able to get to our company location in Vinings / Smyrna, GA every work day, Mon-Fri. JOB SUMMARY: · MUST be a "morning person" - we start at daylight to beat the heat and traffic. If you always run late, this position isn't for you · Good driver, clean record required (company vehicle provided for route) Must have reliable transportation to/from work at our Smyrna location. Dependability is key for this position · Must possess the ability and stamina to work long hours – all of which are outside or in your truck. · Present a professional appearance including wearing an approved Dirty Work uniform (hats, shirts, jackets, coats provided). · Able to work 40 hour (minimum) work week and work around holidays with little direct supervision. · High school degree or equivalent · Drug-free and able to pass a pre-employment background check · Must provide friendly and professional interaction our clients. · Must love dogs of all kinds and not be afraid of large, barking or jumping dogs. Experience with dogs preferred, but does not need to have been through previous employment. (We do not work if a client is known to have an aggressive dog, but we do interact with excited, sometimes jumping, dogs every single day. You WILL get excitedly greeted and occasionally slobbered on.) · Must be able to read, write and follow detailed instructions, and must be able to communicate clearly with clients and our office. Must be able to read a map and use a GPS. · *** LOTS OF WALKING AND LIFTING *** Physical Requirements The work environment and physical demands described below is representative of those that an employee encounters while performing essential functions of this job. Requires constant mobility including walking, stooping, bending, looking, probing, picking up and carrying heavy trash bags, stretching and standing and driving for long periods Driving to and from customer premises Long hours of physical labor Work in all weather conditions May withstand extreme conditions such as heat in Summer or chill of Winter, rain, etc Exposure to vegetation, dust, dirt, insects and animal waste & odor TRANSPORTATION: · Company vehicle provided for the route. · You must have your own reliable transportation to get to and from our parking facility every day.
