2 Shifts: 1st shift M-F 6:30am - 3:00pm / 2nd shift M-F 5:00pm - 2:30 am We are looking for a full time inserting machine operator to run mail inserting equipment in our fast paced Concord, CA facility. The inserting machine operator operates the inserter equipment on the production floor, during the assigned time frames. Must follow standard operating procedures to verify mail quality and document integrity. Work in other areas of the company as requested. Responsibilities include: Must be able to read and understand job details and perform correct duties for the inserter, including set up and maintenance; monitor mail inserting machines to ensure all mail pieces meet established mailing/quality standards. Ensure that count is completely reconciled for every job. Maintain a clean work area as well as other duties and responsibilities assigned by the production supervisor. Be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds. Minimum Qualifications: Experience operating automated inserting equipment is a plus, basic math skills and computer knowledge. Must be able to work efficiently in a production setting and be highly organized. Solid written and verbal communications skills. Ability to sort and tray mail. Strong attention to detail; reliable; must be willing to work overtime and weekends when required.
