We are looking for a Maintenance Technician who will complete preventative maintenance, minor repairs, apartment turnovers and janitorial tasks at this 190-unit affordable/mixed-income housing community. You will have the support of the site and facilities team. At Mercy, collaboration is part of our fabric. Requirements
Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. Knowledge of basic building maintenance required either through training or experience. Technical training in a building trade preferred.
Experience: Minimum of one year in skilled maintenance work preferred. Technical expertise in one or more building trades preferred.
Abilities needed for a successful candidate: Read, write, do basic math, and follow instructions. Work as a part of the site team. Relate professionally with vendors, residents, and co-workers. Communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. Flexible to change work plans.
