Learn from local vintage experts how to extend the life of your clothes and find your own personal style through creative mending techniques Let the vintage fashion experts at Trilogy Consignment guide you through a range of hand sewing methods to repair your garments that need new life. Bring in one personal item that has a hole or damaged seam to work with - or just come and listen! The workshop lasts 2 hours, and includes time to socialize and shop the store. Included in the workshop: All mending supplies (or feel free to bring your own)Detailed one-on-one instruction about visible and invisible repairsTips on incorporating Zero Waste fashion into your lifeTime to mingle and shop at Trilogy after classAll levels are welcome - no sewing experience is necessary! Space is limited to 10 participants. NOTE: This workshop will adhere to CDC guidelines regarding social distancing and sanitizing practices. Menders must be masked at all times. About your hosts: Trilogy Consignment proprietor, Heather Reid, believes that fun can also be functional, pretty can also be practical, and amazing should be accessible. In its spare time, the Trilogy Team enjoys facilitating a community where feminine energy is used to spread joy and affect positive social change. Linnea Leger was introduced to vintage and secondhand fashion as a child and has been building a nearly exclusively secondhand wardrobe for the past 2 years.
