I'm a guitarist (mainly electric, but also have acoustic and enjoy playing it as well...) looking for a band, capital B. As my friends/family/co-workers will attest to, I'm more often than not a ridiculous human being. However, I take music & my guitar playing pretty seriously. I want to be in a BAND that takes the music seriously as well, then puts their instruments down and laughs like hell at how ridiculous this fucking world is. The practice of putting up influences and desires in these ads seems to be unhelpful. This isn't my first rodeo. Suffice to say I want to be in a BAND that plays well, and plays music I really, really like. That may end up being any number of different genres/styles, w/ people having varying types of comittments and goals. If you can actually take 5 minutes out your day, watching through this little demo reel video I put together will give you a good idea of where I'm coming from (YouTube link below...). It doesn't represent the entirety of what I'd be down for joining. But it's a reasonable indicator. If you'd like to start a communication back and forth with me about what you've got going that could use a guitarist, you need to send me your music that I can check out.
