An on-leash outdoor experience for humans & dogs to learn tools and tips in a controlled, positive environment. Do you have a pandemic pup that needs to get out & see other humans and dogs? Have you recently taken classes or private training and now want to practice what you learned in a new environment? Do you need a few training tips? Do you have a reactive dog that you cannot take to certain places because of surprise off-leash dogs? We will not judge you or your dog – we are here to help. Anyone is welcome! If you are working on specific struggles with your dog, we will touch base with you before class to give you some suggestions of how you can successfully participate in the walk. We are passionate about working together to help you and your dog through many challenges. All dogs participating must be on-leash. There will be no contact with other dogs allowed. During the 45-minute walk, we will stop to practice eye contact, brain games, and tips, as well as allow for questions. This event is led by trainer Mike Armstroung with assistance from the founders of Mainely Mutts Animal Rescue. A portion of the proceeds will go to MMAR. Sign up for one or all three walks! Attendance will be capped at 10 dogs. Dogs must be up-to-date with all vetting to attend. Social distancing and masks are required. In the event of inclement weather, we will hold a rain date TBD.
