Interested in growing your own food? This summer, rent a low-cost community garden plot from the Brown County Community Gardens Program for your whole family to enjoy! This is a piece of land you can use to plant, grow, and harvest whatever you want. Cut your grocery bill, get more fresh fruits and vegetables, and have fun as a family! Garden plots are available at locations throughout the county. Prices vary by plot size and location ($10-$45, 4’x8’-50’x50’). Starting April 15 at 8am, the community gardens program will offer online and over-the-phone garden plot registration. Community members can submit a plot application at browncountycommunitygardens.org. Plots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis to any interested community members and will continue until all plots are filled.
