Masked, Outdoor Blues Dance event PARTY DETAILS Come be serenaded on our side lot with sweet swingin and bluesy tunes from the internationally acclaimed Lulu and the Broadsides on Saturday, April 17th **rain date - Saturday April 24th** This private party is outside and begins at 6pm. The band will play 7-9pm. Calculating the size of the side lot, driveways, decks, and backyard, we are selling 75 tickets (which is still well under the 150 person gathering size limit in New Orleans in Phase Three). Tickets are $25 are and can be purchased here. 100% goes directly to the band who has been unable to perform for a year. ● Children are welcome, but due to limited space, children 10 and up should be treated as adults in terms of ticket prices. ● In the past, our dance parties have been donation-only but at the present moment, we think it is crucial to both limit our gathering size AND pay the band well. Bring Your Own: ● Chair or blanket to stake out your pod’s spot. ● Food, drink, utensils, etc ● Boogie woogie spirit We will provide: ● Water ● Two signature cocktails available for $4 each ● A very cute baby many of you have not yet met COVID DETAILS Please wear a mask on the dance floor, when moving about the party, and when inside our home visiting the 2 downstairs bathrooms (please do not linger inside). You can unmask: ● When at your chair and socially distanced outside ● When dancing with your podmates socially distanced from others VACCINE BRACELETS We are trying out a bracelet system to indicate full vaccination. ● Consent is not only the proper etiquette for social dance, but is also important to keep our community healthy and safe. In the spirit of consent, we are trying out a bracelet system that indicates full vaccination to facilitate communication with potential dance partners. ● HOW TO GET A VACCINE BRACELET - When you purchase your tickets you will receive the host’s email address. By April 15, please email an image of your vaccine card (showing your name but sensitive info blocked) and the subject “LULU Dance.” (Dates should indicate both shots + two weeks for Moderna or Pfizer or 1 shot + two weeks after J&J) ○ At the welcome table in our driveway we will have your bracelet ready on Saturday, April 17 (or in the case of inclement weather, Saturday April 24)
