PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Seven Prince George's County Jersey Mike's Subs stores will donate 100 percent of their sales on Wednesday. Altogether, 38 Maryland locations will participate in the charitable event. The effort is part of the sandwich chain's Month of Giving, which has raised $32 million for local charities since 2011. Jersey Mike's hopes to shatter its own record and raise more than $8 million this year, the business said in a press release. The company said it will donate "all sales from all locations" on Wednesday. Owners will even donate their own money, meaning every dollar that flows in will go to charity. Franchise owners pick the charities and identify organizations "that support local neighborhoods and build a stronger community," Jersey Mike's said. The chain has been taking donations all month for these selected charities.
