Ever want to create paintings using acrylic paint, decorative papers and various art supplies? Let mixed media artist Ellen Gordon show you how to combine materials to create fascinating artwork. Image transfer, mono printing, poured and rolled paint techniques will be taught too! In-depth understanding of the elements of design and composition theories will be taught each session which will enhance each student way of thinking about art and creating art. Demonstrations and individual attention will be given as each student works on exploring the use of various traditional and non-traditional materials in creating an interesting artwork. No experience necessary – just a willingness to try! Held in G.A.S. Studio with physical distance zones and all CDC precautions. Max. 8 students. This is an evening program starting 4/6 from 6-8 pm.
