We are a General Contractor in Anchorage and have served the property restoration needs of residential and commercial clients for 30 years. We provide 24 hr emergency services for water and board up due to fire, theft and vandalism. Our teams work a rotation schedule for on call/ after hours work.
Due to the emergency service callouts, applicants should live within the Anchorage Municipality and have a reliable source of transportation at all times.
We are searching for an experienced carpenter. This is not an entry level laborer position.
Some of the skills we are looking for in an applicant are:
Competency in carpentry work such as drywall, painting, framing, installing cabinets,doors, flooring, finish and trim work. Experienced with hand & power tools.
Have the ability to work independently to complete a job from a written scope, plans and budget
Knowledge of current municipal building codes is a plus
Be able to effectively communicate with customers, subcontractors and suppliers
Be a team player and show mentorship qualities when working with less skilled laborers
Provide own basic carpentry tools
Current ADL is required and no more than 3 infractions in last 3years
As a condition of hire, applicants must consent to a background check and drug screening. Due to our contracts with insurance carriers we cannot consider an applicant with any felonies.
