Join us for our next Barrel Club dinner, featuring the excellent Rye and Bourbon whiskeys from High West Distillery.
Barrel Club is a new series of spirit focused dinners and tastings at Chaz. At Barrel Club you'll have the opportunity to try different spirits from a particular distiller, region, or style, try cocktails prepared with them, and enjoy a specially created pairing menu from Executive Chef Shawn Hartwig.
For our second Barrel Club dinner we're going to visit the award winning Ryes and Bourbons from our favorite biochemist turned distiller David Perkins and High West Distillery. Located near Park City, Utah, High West was Utah's first legal distillery since 1870 and was named Whisky Advocate's Distiller of the Year in 2016.
We'll be highlighting four of High West's core whiskeys, American Prairie Bourbon, Double Rye, Rendezvous Rye, and Campfire. Chaz bartender and local bon vivant Kenny Cohrs is creating a welcome cocktail included with the dinner so you can sample the whiskeys on their own and as part of a balanced drink. We're excited to have High West Ambassador and Luxury Brands Manager for Constellation Michel Krevenas in attendance to talk about the whiskeys and walk you through the history of the distillery. And if you try something you just can't leave without, we'll have bottles on hand for purchase to take home with you.
