The applicant must be able to fulfill the following functions daily
Office Interaction:
• Interact with other staff members providing clear communication regarding current and upcoming jobs.
• Interact with all customers in a respectful and courteous manner.
• Provide detailed records of work completed, receipts for materials and tools used
• Complete all necessary paper work daily.
• Must be able to follow directions on map, find residences and locate problems and report them to the office
Building Knowledge:
• Basic understanding of residential lighting, electrical systems
• Basic understanding of residential heating systems (for emergency response)
• Basic understanding of building construction
• Basic understanding of plumbing – repair/replacement
• Basic understanding of health and safety systems – fire alarms, security systems
Skills required:
• Basic drywall repair
• Painting – primer to finish coat all surfaces (interior/exterior)
• Basic Plumbing fixture repair/replacement
• Basic Electrical fixture repair/replacement
• Basic Appliance repair/installation – simple
• Knowledge of Landscaping – installations and maintenance
• General knowledge of how to use power tools and hand tools
• All other building maintenance - interior and exterior not included here
• Basic computer skills- ability to use tablet for job management
Physical / personal requirements:
• Must have valid driver’s license that is maintained as current and valid at all times
• Must be able to physically access all areas of a residential or commercial building (that are meant for access) – attic, basement, crawl space, etc.
Physical Ability to use step ladder, extension ladders up to 24’ unaided.
