DOWNERS GROVE, IL — UPDATE: An 88-year-old Downers Grove man who was reported missing Monday evening has been found. Original article: Downers Grove police are asking the public for help finding an 88-year-old man who may be in need of urgent medical attention. Information about the disappearance was shared on the village's Facebook page just before 9:30 p.m. Monday. John Kroese was last seen Monday afternoon around 4 p.m. at his home in the 1400 block of Thornwood Drive. Kroese is 6 feet tall and weighs around 175 pounds. He is bald with blue eyes. Police say Kroese may be driving a white 2020 Lincoln Aviator with Illinois registration E440532. If you have any information about Kroese's whereabouts, Downers Grove police ask that you call 911.
