VIP Event: Thursday, May 13 • (5-7 p.m.) Public Exhibition: Friday, May 14-Thursday, May 27, 2021 Meet Digital Artist Robin Austin at Emillions Art VIP Reception May 13, 5 to 7 p.m. Canvas to Camera is a new curated exhibition pairing French artist Patrice Rouge’s masterful abstract drip paintings and contemporary digital artist Robin Austin’s larger-than-life photo mosaic artworks for a limited time in May. The one-of-a-kind joint exhibition will open with a rare personal appearance by Robin Austin at a reception Thursday, May 13 from 5 until 7 p.m. in the Emillions Art show room, on the second floor of Artwalk above Chops City Grill, at 837 5th Avenue South in Naples. Marlissa Gardner, founder and president of Emillions Art, will host the reception. Following the reception, the Canvas to Camera exhibition will be open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., May 14 through May 27. Sample Featured Artwork “The Way You Wear Your Hat,” by Robin Austin features over 3,000 lifetime photos of Frank Sinatra from the crooner’s humble beginnings in New Jersey to the 500 Club to Las Vegas Rat Pack to Los Angeles film career to Miami and Cuba nightclubs layering a living story within each connected image.
