Celebrate 20 Years of Advancing Local Women & Girls with Barbara Rhodes-Melvin, First Florida Integrity Bank, "Unleashing Your Potential" AAUW Greater Naples Branch and Greater Naples AAUW Charitable Foundation, Inc. invite you to join a Celebration of 20 Years of Advancing Local Women and Girls 11:30 a.m., Saturday, November 6, 2021 at the Naples Sailing and Yacht Club Keynote Speaker, Barbara Rhodes-Melvin, Vice President, Community Relations Officer, First Florida Integrity Bank and President, Party Hearty for Charity Since its founding by the AAUW Greater Naples Branch in 2001, the Greater Naples AAUW Charitable Foundation, Inc. has:  --Provided academic scholarships to deserving local women pursuing college degrees; and --Funded the Branch’s annual conference for fifth-grade girls enrolled in Collier County Public schools to teach them and their parents about opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math.  Additionally, the Foundation: --Funds the Branch’s Reading is Fun program, giving books to at-risk children in the neediest public elementary schools; and --Funds the AAUW StartSmart and WorkSmart programs, teaching woman salary negotiation skills to help close the persistent gender wage gap.
