APPLY, QUALIFY, have 6 inches tall STEEL TOE BOOTS, START NEXT WORKING DAY. Job Summary Performs a variety of general manual labor tasks under direct supervision. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned. Performs general manual labor tasks including, but not limited to: • Manually picks up windblown paper from periphery of landfill. Carries a large plastic trash bag and walks along the fenced border of the landfill, as well as on exterior land adjacent to the public property. Pulls paper from the fence and lifts loose paper from the ground, depositing refuse in bag until full. • Lifting and moving materials • Loading and unloading vehicles • Digging and refilling holes • Other activities in a helping or assisting mode. • Conducts other duties and tasks as assigned. • 6 inches tall steel toe boots require. • Dress for the weather (coveralls, thermal long johns’ pants and top, raincoat, etc.…) 1st Shift Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30/4:00pm $16.00/hr.
