An event for guardianship and adoptive families. Bring your adpotive family for a nature scavenger hunt on the trails of Riverside Park at the Urban Ecology Center of Milwaukee!! Enjoy beautiful trails that are both wheelchair and stroller accessible for families. Participants will begin their hike with a visit to the WISAPSP's table at the Urban Ecology center to pick up trail map and a scavenger hunt card. Once the hike is over return to the WISAPSP's table to share what your family found and receive a paid one year family membership pass to the Urban Ecology Center.! The benefits you will receive are as follows: -Free equipment lending: canoes, kayaks, cross country skis, snowshoes, bicycles, ice skates and more! -A 20% discount on programs for all ages, so you can learn how to ski or kayak, enjoy an inspiring lecture or enroll your child in one of our week-long summer camps at a discounted rate. -A subscription to the monthly member e-newsletter, and periodic email updates and announcements of spontaneous happenings, such as meteor showers, bird sightings, members-only events, etc. - Family (benefits for two adults, all children or grandchildren under 18 in a household, one guest Please join us for a beautiful spring hike and receive a one year family membership pass to the Urban Ecology Center. "Only One Pass Per Family" REMINDERS Please do NOT attend an event if you or anyone in your household is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 (which include fever, cough, and shortness of breath), or have been exposed to others who have experienced those symptoms within the last 14 days. Social distancing of at least 6 feet will be required. Please bring a mask for each person in your party to be used anytime social distancing of at least 6 feet cannot be maintained. Items sought will be marked on your scavenger hunt card, no items can leave the park grounds.
