My name is Lourdes and I have 8 years of experience as a daycare teacher at a facility and have now owned my own in home daycare for the last six years, as well as raising 5 children of my own. I have college units in child development, which I continue to take, and am also CPR certified. I think it's important to stay up to date with new child development findings, safety, and nutrition. I will not just be a "babysitter" to your child, I will be a teacher and make sure to prepare them for preschool/kindergarten. We will go over daily learning criteria, participate in circle time and sing-a-longs, have playtime outside, and snack and nap time. As a mother myself, I know how hard it is to leave your precious angels when you have to go to work to support your family. It's important to leave them with someone you trust and know they will be safe. If you choose me as your daycare provider, you will feel confident knowing that your child is in a safe and loving environment.
