Electrician Mechanic- Farmingdale, Electrician/Mechanic Firm is seeking will be an experienced, goal oriented, self-motivated, enthusiastic professional who will have a proven track record in electrical (Relay logic, PLCS) and general building electrical systems, as well as industrial electrical construction experience. The job requires someone who can take a “hands on and roll up your sleeves approach” to getting things done and is a team player. The right individual for this role must have the ability to work independently as well as be a team player and be able to get the job done in a timely fashion. Skills/Qualifications • experience in electrical (relay logic and plcs), building electrical systems and industrial electrical construction experience. • Must be able to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electrical issues. • Must be able to work with EMT and rigid conduit bending. • Experience with pneumatic switches, valves and cylinders. • Superior time management skills with a proven track record of accountability. • Ability to prioritize. • Proven ability to multitask. • Superior follow up skills. • Flexibility required. Bayport- Roll Packer (packing products/heavy) Bayport, NY $14-15.40 hourly Tuesday-Friday + overtime A. 5am-3pm B. 3pm-1 am ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned as a normal practice. • Obtains, sorts, and counts products according to job specifications. • Works on different lines as tasks vary according to job requirements or specifications. • Weighs product and reports any inconsistencies to lead, or supervisor. • Properly labels boxes according to product specifications. • Packs special arrangements or selections of products. • Fabricates and assembles boxes by inserting them through a sealing machine. • Alerts supervision of any complications that may arise. • Transports boxes through different stages of packaging by means of conveyor lines or rollers. • Must work as a team to help co-workers when needed.
